CR Languages is an avocational learning institute accredited by ACCET, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training, and is recognized by the US Department of Education.
As an accredited institution, CR Languages has committed itself to sound management and educational practices and is reviewed regularly by the accrediting body and peers to ensure that we continue to meet the rigorous standards of accreditation.
What Accreditation Means for Quality
- All of our instructors must hold at least a bachelor’s degree, have extensive experience teaching, and continue professional development.
- Our curriculum is carefully crafted and continuously reviewed for effectiveness to meet set passing rates.
- Our enrollment and refund policies meet or exceed ACCET standards and the ACCET principles of ethics.
- Our processes and procedures ensure that the school is guided by a comprehensive view of student feedback, instructor feedback, and best practices.
What Accreditation Means for Students
Dedication to Learning
Students who enroll at CR Languages are dedicated to their education and to learning a foreign language. That means your peers and your school are as motivated as you are to learn and enjoy the experience of a foreign language.
CEUs (Continuing Education Units)
As an avocational school, students will receive continuing education units, CEUs, as part of their course of study.
Employer Reimbursement
As an accredited school that offers CEUs, courses at CR Languages generally qualify for professional development programs. Check with your employer.
Transfer Credits at Universities and Colleges
It may be possible to receive transfer credits at universities and colleges from your course at CR Languages. This is on a case-by-case basis. Reach out to us and we will do our best to establish a matriculation agreement with your transfer school.
I-20 for F1 and F2 Student Visas
Once CR Languages is approved by the Department of Homeland Security, intensive English students will be eligible for the form I-20, needed to apply for the F1 and F2 student visas. Our application with the Department of Homeland Security is currently pending, and we hope to receive approval sometime in 2024.
Not Qualified for Federal Funding and Student Aid
As an avocational school, CR Languages unfortunately does not qualify to receive federal funding from scholarships or grants, or the GI Bill. CR Languages is not a Title IV school.
Not all Programs are Considered Accredited Courses
The ‘Spanish with Julieta’ series of online, self-paced courses and ‘Self-Study’ programs are not considered courses and are therefore not eligible for CEUs.
